Job Description of the TNDP EC

• The purpose of the executive committee is to promote the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party and to assist in the election of Democratic nominees.

Other Duties include:

• Determining and planning State Party conventions
• Selecting members of the Democratic National Committee
• Establishing procedure for selecting delegates to the Democratic National Convention
• Establishing procedures and rules for the organization and function of County Democratic Executive Committees, including time and processes for reorganizations.
• Responsibility for the operation of a State Democratic Party Headquarters.
• Strategic planning to best utilize Committee resources.
• Record keeping, financial decision-making of the State Party.
